This is where I spent the ceremony, hidden away in the cabana. We were running two-track stereo mixes of the 12-piece orchestra and the ceremony itself to CD-R and analog cassette, as well as dry recordings of just the cantor and the bride and groom's mics to DAT. We also sent eight stems to the orchestra's DA-88, which will get the ProTools treatment via their sound guy and be sent in a prettied-up recording to the client.
This is also where my mix of the orchestra got distributed to the 20+ speakers hidden in the garden and around the backyard. My boss, Dave, ran a separate FOH mix from a compact mix position centered around a DM1000 for the 24 speakers hidden in the roof of the ceremony tent.
